1: What is the most important goal or milestone you would like to see happen on this forum or in this community?
- Short term (within the next month)
I hope that in the next 2-3 weeks, with our Singapore Nationals coming up this coming sunday (09/10/2016), our community would grow and we could take this time to spread this forum to other Singaporean players, solidifying our foundation before moving on to grow the regional community. This nationals is a perfect opportunity for local players to share their decks, their games in nationals, perhaps even sell off their promos? This is an opportunity to reach out to players from other stores such as BB, DP and PI (provided they show up).
- Mid term (over the next 6 months)
Hopefully within the next 6 months, the AGOT 2E draft packs will become available in Singapore and i hope to have more draft events in the future. Our highly competitive meta can be very taxing and the draft format (although still most likely competitive) will be a different pace for the game and we would be able to open a new forum section for draft format/players.
- Long term (after the next circuit)
The long term goal is to establish an active and passionate regional community. With only 2 seasons left the AGOT TV series, the hype of the game will no doubt die down as well. Within this 2 years, without the aid of FFG, we need to establish a lasting community based around the passion for game and not just the show/books. With that said, the emphasis of regional community will become very important as the player pool is only so big. Events such as the SEA circuit and hopefully even cross regional (Hong Kong, China, Australia?) one day.
Another long term goal i have, is to have a team represent SEA in worlds. This is likely a 1-2 year plan and would require an enormous budget. It's wishful thinking, but i think it would be cool to send some asians to kick some "premium" player ass in the west. (credits to Jason for stealing their regional title)
2: What would you personally be most excited to contribute to the community?
I would again like to contribute my wild ideas towards planning our SEA circuit once again. Creatives such as theme, promo cards, playmats, prizes etc etc are what i do best and is a field where i can contribute to the fullest of my ability. I drink and i know things.
3: What are your most immediate and/or greatest concerns for the community?
My personal opinion is that the game is becoming stagnant, partly because of the shipping issue and secondly i do get bored of playing sometimes. And i'm not alone in feeling this way, i've noticed a few players showing up less frequently than before and some outright quit. Our weekly game night can be a massacre to new players all for the need to win the GNK prize.
I also feel the stores could play a part in helping new players into the game. One such idea is to actually give the participation prize when you 1st register for league, enticing new players to come rather then only coming on the last day (of for some who do not even know of this "last day" prize might have played on the 1st week of the month, got scared off and never came back to get their promo card that they are entitled to". But then again, it's a store thing and not a community thing.
And finally, CK, CK is the immediate/greatest/biggest concern for the community.

Short:
I would love to see our physical community grow, and our new member retention rate to be higher, and more stable. If we're talking specifics, I'd say hopefully by end of Nov, we should be aiming for 5 or 6 new players joining us for the playing experience and tutorial, and hopefully following that, we can achieve and maintain a 50% retention rate.
I would also like to see more interaction amongst members of the community. Although we gather to play, discuss or debate about AGoT, we can also look to other social activities to strengthen the bond between our members. Perhaps we can arrange bi-weekly gatherings (can be for anything, lunch, dinner, supper, drinks, movie, board/card games), which can also be an avenue for us to reach out / get to know potential squires.
One thing we can look into is probably to loop in people who play AGoT in different parts of the island (AAA store, ZZZ store, whatever). While it may not be convenient for them to convene with the regular community at a certain store, we can definitely interact with them outside Thursdays.
Forum-wise, I would definitely like for more people to register and actively use the forums, perhaps we admins can take turns to encourage (hantam, hold hostage, threaten wildfire also can) registrations at our store nights/tourneys/gatherings. Also, if we can figure out some sustainable and reasonable manner of rewarding say, the first 50 registrations (defo up for discussion), I think it would provide a nice personal touch to the forum. Fingers crossed we'll be able to bump our forum numbers up by a few dozen in the next 1-2 months.
Mid:
Adding to the above, in the next half a year or so, it would be good if we managed to reach a member count of 50-60 regular players for our physical community, and 100+ registered forum users with at least half of them participating in discussions regularly (are we planning to advertise xtns on other international forums/FB groups? we should hor).
Hopefully as we gain traction with the member/player numbers, we can also start recruiting new council members, and till then, we might want to come up with a simple screening process in order to decide who will join the council and why (his/her role in the council).
Also, at the end of the next 6 months, we should be hosting our second annual open. We should aim to hold a discussion with community members about the various things we can explore for it, and how we can make sure we improve from the last open as much as we can. Lots of work, but much excites.
Long:
Ideally, in the long term, we should try to establish presence (as the pan-asian meta) internationally. Get features in more podcasts/forums/groups, get our locally customised prize support kits travelling the globe and receiving recognition, etc.
2: What would you personally be most excited to contribute to the community?
I guess my ideas and my designs. Also hope to have more time to train so that I can help to teach others better.
3: What are your most immediate and/or greatest concerns for the community?
New players and how to retain them; how to bridge the gaps between location-bound players in SG meta.
Ok maybe above a bit TL;DR so I summarise:
Short:
- grow community, invite 5-6 people in the next 1-2 months (weeks a bit hard la uh), try to retain 50% and maintain
- bi-weekly gatherings
- try to bridge gaps between different store/location metas within SG
- more registrations on forum, maybe mini mini prize support for first 50 registrations (excl. us)
- rotational forum duty for council members
Mid:
- up SG comm. count to 50-60 regular players
- 100+ registered forum players with at least half participating in discussions regularly
- new council members
- open discussions with rest of community
- a bigger and better SG Open for 2017
Long:
- international presence; get people talking about us (both forum and playing community)
- get our custom merch out there into the world

Like everyone else, I would love to see the community grow. Hopefully with more expansion boxes coming out, drawing in new players wouldn't be so difficult as they won't need to find it a requirement to buy all the chapter packs they have missed out and just get the expansion box of the house they want to play along with the starters.
- Mid term (over the next 6 months)
Would really hope the game kits would receieve some adjustments, the Nationals prize kit was pretty underwhelming. With the announcement made for the upcoming store championship prize kits, i think they are stepping into the right direction.
Hope to see the draft packs too by the end of the year, and the draft starters does include some basic cost reducers for new players to have access to.
- Long term (after the next circuit)
Do hope that the fans of both the tv series and books would be exposed to this game and joy in the fun. AGoT LCG is one my most favorite games of all time (with My Little Pony CCG taking the top spot).
More agendas to be released, giving players an even more difficult time in their deck building. i'm hoping that the Maester agenda (i wouldn't understand why anyone would vote anything but the Green Fork at the Battle of the Trident) would shake up the way of winning the game.

guiding new players to pick this game up!

that Soe will scare them away after they "Take the Black".

We are all AGoT players first and foremost. We have our preferred place to play but we can play anyway (advantage of a card game). - Mid term (over the next 6 months) Grow the local community. Help people get started. Help people stay in the game. Have more fun events. We haven't had a official melee tournament in SG before. We are missing out half the game.
- Long term (after the next circuit) Hopefully we can grow big enough to organize the "Stahleck of SEA & Oceanic".2: What would you personally be most excited to contribute to the community? - Short term
More Tyrell players. I myself is considering to push for that but the castle black commitments are holding me back. I am sure there are very good players who can come out with some witty deck ideas and push for a deck that is viable. Please try to push for this to inspire new players to represent Tyrell. It is good to have a diversed playing field not just Lanni and Starks.
Alex and Wil(the slut) please go back to the Reach and recruit more Rainbow guards.
- Mid term
With all the major tourneys not in sight til Nov, it is important as a community to push for regular meta / relax gaming sessions. Downtime like this is abit dangerous and it is during these periods where we may have net loss of players. No incoming player but a few that leaving the game.
Play at game shops more often, if we play there often enough, we will be able to attract more eyes. Also we can arrange sessions with players who cannot come for league nights and also not in the cliques. Hope that this forum can aid in arranging casual sessions eventually.
More melee. Singapore melee game is abit underwhelming. Most of the time players prefer to joust because only joust matters in tourneys. Hope we can have melee tournaments too to change this mindset.
- Long term
Recruit new players. New player brings revenue to the shop = more prize kits. Personally i consistently psycho my gamimg friends to start this game.
More teams, right now in Singapore there are only 2 official teams, Team VS and Silent sisters. It will be very good to see more teams formed as this bring flavour to tourneys and also we will be able to host team tourneys.
2: What would you personally be most excited to contribute to the community?
TAKE THE BLACK.
Kidding. Generally i am an obnoxious asshole who talks a little too much, so if i have offended you in some way please pardon my behaviours.
I really hope that I will be able to bring in more new players. Promote The Night's watch. I am also interested to do a write up of how i usually host my demo games.

1. How the events are run at BB in recent tourneys.
